Replace your tired, aging and worn out engine bushings in your E28 or E24 with the upgraded Garagistic E28/E24 Poly Motor Mount Bushings (11811128932, 3001181103,11811175735 ). These bushings are intended to be an OEM replacement for BMW part number 11811128932 and will work on all E28 and E24 chassis that are equipped with the "big six" M30 engine or M20 powered cars.

These poly engine mounts feature a captive stud design. This means that the mounting studs are separate from one another and encapsulated within the polyurethane to provide as much vibration dampening as is possible through the material. The polyurethane material offers a significant upgrade in rigidity over the factory rubber, allowing for better power transfer and reducing the engine movement, especially during performance driving.

A quick note about Poly and Aluminum in this application

The Garagistic E28/E24 Poly Motor Mount Bushings (11811128932, 3001181103, 11811175735) are designed to offer the best of both worlds within reason.

Our captive floating stud design helps to ensure the maximum amount of vibration dampening possible within the poly material. With that said these bushings are more rigid than the factory units and by default will transfer more vibration to the car.

Even so, we believe that the benefits of these mounts greatly outweigh the drawbacks as they offer not only increased performance but increased durability and strength over the factory units. We generally recommend the softer 80A polyurethane for most street driven cars with occasional spirited or performance use.
