Steering rack travel limiters designed to reduce steering rack travel and prevent excessive steering lock on BMW E36, E46 and Z3 steering racks.
Inspired by the factory BMW E36 M3 setup, these limiters are installed on the steering rack shaft to provide a positive stop at the end of the rack's travel.
Ideal for vehicles where excessive steering lock can cause tyre or wheel rubbing, interference with brake cooling ducts, or unwanted contact with other suspension and steering components.
The limiters also provide a positive mechanical stop to help reduce excessive loading on the steering rack and tie rods when reaching full lock.

Please Note: This listing is for the 5mm version. A thinner 3.5mm version is also available separately where less restriction of steering travel is required.
