The adapters are designed to be welded directly onto the factory rear trailing arms alongside the original caliper mounting points. This allows a secondary brake caliper to operate independently of the primary braking system, providing improved rear wheel locking control for drifting and competition use.

Important Installation Information:

  • Welding Required: Brackets must be correctly positioned and welded directly onto the rear trailing arms. Professional installation is strongly recommended.

  • Brake Calipers: Designed to accommodate an additional factory E36 rear brake caliper. Secondary calipers and hydraulic handbrake components are required separately.

  • Dust Shield Modification: Factory rear brake dust shields must be trimmed to provide clearance for the additional caliper.

  • E36 Compact Exclusion: Not compatible with BMW E36 318ti Compact rear trailing arms. These vehicles require the E30-style dual caliper brackets.

  • Motorsport Application: Intended for drift and motorsport builds. Modifications to the factory braking system may affect road legality and vehicle compliance.
