E36 High Adjustment Upper Strut Mount Reinforcement Plate

When reinforcing the front strut tower for the E36 chassis we noticed an issue with the factory reinforcement plate available (BMW part number 31312489795). This plate while effective also reduces the size of the main hole of the strut tower. When running camber plates this can be an issue as it will reduce the available adjustment by shrinking the center area. In light of this, we made our own solution! An 11 gauge steel reinforcement plate that does not get in the way of adjustment and provides the same benefits as the OEM units! Don't "mushroom" your strut towers reinforce them! These plates are a bolt up installation.

They are intended to be installed between the top hat/camber plate and strut tower from the underside. They can also be welded in if preferred.

Note that these are Stainless Steel, not Mild Steel plates.
