Overview
The Garagistic Oil Temperature Sensor Flange is designed to deliver the most accurate oil temperature readings by placing the sensor where it matters most: directly in the sump. Testing on and off the track has confirmed that this location gives the most reliable data, since it measures the actual oil lubricating your engine, not oil that has already passed through the pump.
Unlike factory or standard aftermarket setups, which locate the sensor after the oil pump, our flange avoids heat soak from the pump housing that can distort readings. Other sensor adapters often suffer from poor placement, require unnecessary modifications, or clutter the engine bay. The Garagistic flange solves all of these issues with a clean, flush-mounted design that uses the factory oil level sensor port. No cutting, drilling, or extra brackets needed.
Installation
Remove the factory oil level sensor or block-off plate and bolt the flange directly to the oil pan using the OEM bolt pattern. It’s compatible with any sensor using an M12 x 1.50mm thread.
Please note:
Removing the OEM oil level sensor will trigger a low oil warning light. Since this flange is intended for race and track use, we assume users will be manually monitoring their oil levels, or using standalone engine management, or dash systems. In performance applications, accurate oil temperature is far more critical than maintaining the factory oil level warning.
