E30 Front Control Arm Reinforcement Kit

Here is the Garagistic E30/E36/E46 front control arm ball joint reinforcement kit. Every kit includes 2 front control arm ball joint reinforcement kit.

WHY REINFORCE THE FRONT CONTROL ARM BALL JOINT AREA?

Well in track and drift applications, the E30 control arm mount point can crack. Reinforcing this area with thicker sheet metal will prevent cracking (usually occurs at the weld itself) as well as damage that can occur to subframe from the front wheels hitting something. This kit is only for preventative maintenance and should not be used as a repair kit. It is recommended that this area be checked periodically for damage especially on race and drift E30s. The kit comes comes flat and will need to be bent to the exact contour of your subframe (no special tools are required, the plates are scored already and can be bent with little effort using pliers). Once bent to the correct angle the "score" in the plate should also be welded.
